Sanctioned Clubs

Find your table.
Or build one.

A sanctioned Grunt Spades club follows the published GS-1 rules, standard scoring, code of conduct, and a dependable monthly schedule. It has a Primary Club Leader and an Alternate Leader, keeps simple records, and uses the same game every time. The first club model is being built and tested in the Cherokee Village/Ash Flat area before any wider expansion.

Local focus

Cherokee Village,
Ash Flat, and the
surrounding area.

Player interest open

The first dependable club is the priority. Existing university pilots and appointments with the Elks, VFW, American Legion, and Marine Corps League will continue while the sanctioned-club standard is tested.

Three ways in

Choose your lane.

01

Learn how to play

Use the free GS-1 Civilian Edition to learn the same rules, scoring, and table procedure used by every sanctioned club.

02

Join the local list

Tell us your city and how far you are willing to travel. We will connect nearby players as the first tables form.

03

Build toward sanctioning

Minimum starting point: four interested players (eight preferred), one host location with permission, and two people willing to lead. Sanctioning follows three successful recorded meetings and confirmed leader readiness—not the other way around.

How to start

Four people. One deck. One common standard.

01

Raise your hand

Use the interest form and tell us whether you want to learn, play, organize, or host.

02

Learn the standard

Download GS-1 and use the same rules, scoring, and procedures at every table.

03

Build the rhythm

Set a regular meeting time and name a dependable table leader. Sanctioning follows a stable table—not the other way around.

What sanctioned means

The standard is earned at the table.

Sanctioning confirms that a dependable local group can teach, play, score, lead, and keep records under one published standard.

01

Four active players

Build a dependable base with at least four players who return to the table.

02

Two trained leaders

Name a Primary Club Leader and an Alternate Leader who can each run a complete meeting.

03

Three recorded meetings

Complete three meetings within 90 days using the common rules, scoring, records, and After Action Reviews.

04

No provisional fee

No membership fee is required during the provisional local phase.

Sanctioning is not a franchise, employment relationship, government affiliation, or permission to sell Grunt Spades products. The full operating standard is provided to club leaders after interest and local readiness are confirmed.

Access and notice

Know before you report.

Public club meetings will normally be posted at least seven days ahead. Notices will identify known accessibility limits and provide a contact for accommodation questions.
